After installing the update, the game on the PlayStation 4 is close in quality to the older version for the next generation consoles
A YouTube user under the nickname Deep posted a video on his channel in which he gave a visual comparison of the starting version of the role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 and the updated version after installing the huge patch 1.2
This is how Cyberpunk 2077 should have looked from the start: a spectacular comparison of versions 1.2 and 1.0
The comparison was carried out using the example of the version of the game for the console of the previous generation PlayStation 4, which has noticeably changed with the release of the update. The significantly improved graphics quality is striking, the textures have become much more detailed, reflections and shadows, as well as the drawing distance, have improved. Numerous bugs have also been fixed.
After installing the update, the game on the PlayStation 4 came close in quality to the older version for the next-generation consoles. However, even after the release of this patch, which brought many different changes and improvements, players continue to complain about the appearance of police officers next to the main character.
CD Projekt RED planned to release this update back in February, but due to a cyberattack on CD Projekt, the patch was postponed to March. The update contains hundreds of fixes related to gameplay, quests, user interface, graphics, sound, bugs, and so on.
The game has not yet been returned to the PlayStation Store.
