The interior of the passenger Tu-214 is of the greatest interest
This week, on Thursday, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin made a trip to the Kazan Aviation Plant, which will produce the Tu-214 passenger airliner. And a little later (already after the official part), a video was published on the Government of Russia Telegram channel in which Mikhail Mishustin examines the interior of the Tu-214. In fact, for the first time, footage appeared showing the passenger version of the airliner.

It is not yet clear whether Mishustin was shown the final version of the interior, but large chairs with decent-sized armrests attract attention. There are no integrated screens in the backs – they are made folding and placed in the area of the upper console. Each row has 4 seats in total.
This is how the interiors of domestic airliners MS-21 and Tu-214 look like
During a conversation with the pilots, Mikhail Mishustin asked when, in their opinion, the version of the Tu-214, designed for two crew members (there is a flight engineer), to which they replied – within a year or two.
For comparison, here are images of the cabin of the domestic MS-21 airliner (Finance Minister Anton Siluanov flew to the Kazan Aviation Plant for a meeting with Mishustin). Here the chairs are already much simpler and are installed 6 pieces in a row. But even visually, the interior of the MS-21 is wider.
