Telegram-channel “City of Togliatti” has published a video dedicated to the buggy “Niva Arta”. We have already written about this model before, but now there are more first-hand details. Ruslan Fedik, head of F-Design Plus, which developed the SUV, spoke about the car.
The car based on the VAZ “Niva” was named “Niva Arta”. Togliatti designers worked on its creation, who, in the process of manufacturing the development, consulted with the military and tried to take into account all their recommendations and wishes.

The controls and the electrical part were specially minimized so that such a Niva could be repaired in the field. For example, if a wheel is pierced, but there is no spare, then almost any wheel will do – even from a GAZelle, even from a UAZ. The radiator grill is made of thick steel, the bumper is power, on such a “Niva” you can drive around undergrowth or bushes without fear of damaging something.
The luggage compartment accommodates a cassette with 6 ATGM launchers. If necessary, it can be easily dismantled. Or, for example, instead of it, you can install an AGS (automatic grenade launcher) or PKM (machine gun). Artoo can also be used to transport the wounded.
