Thriller Twelve Minutes is not ready yet, but already on the way to the home stretch

The author of the thriller Twelve Minutes, Luis Antonio (Luis Antonio) spoke about what needs to be done in the game before the release. Unfortunately, the project is not yet at the home stretch, but it is already close to it.

Twelve Minutes is a thriller about a husband who is stuck in a time loop and cannot find a way to protect his wife from an unknown criminal. The game is published by Annapurna Interactive, and the project was going to be released last year. However, the release was ultimately delayed. But Hollywood stars joined the work on the thriller, who voiced the heroes of the game. The release date is still unknown, but development is nearing completion.

The blog Twelve Minutes Louis Antonio detail told that more needs to be done. If you are a developer, you will probably be interested in reading about animation, motion capture and the tools used to create a project.

However, Antonio said that all the content is ready and the team can focus on optimizing Twelve Minutes for different platforms. In addition, the developers are working on various technical tasks such as adding gamepad support or switching profiles.

At the moment, the main goal of the team is to assemble the final assembly of the game, which can be played from start to finish without major problems. After that, the developers will understand whether the pace of the story is in order, whether the puzzles and the plot are clear, whether the controls are convenient. “Just like re-filming scenes in films, we may have to do multiple captures to tweak the dialogues, or tweak some of the animations a bit to better convey the story,” commented Antonio.

Once this is done, the team will move on to the final stages of development and announce a release date.

Twelve Minutes will be released on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.
