Now you can pay via Tinkoff Pay using a pendant on a bracelet or keychain
Tinkoff Bank, together with the Russian brand Artpayments, has launched jewelry accessories for contactless payment with the Tinkoff Pay function. Now bank customers will be able to pay for purchases with one touch, without the need to use a card, using charms, runners, bracelets and key rings. Payment accessories are made of silver, mother-of-pearl or, in more affordable options, silicone and artificial leather, all of which have an integrated NFC chip
A Tinkoff card is attached to the device, you can manage the settings of the payment accessory and replenish the balance through the application. A bank employee at the point of sale will help activate the payment function in the accessory. You can pay with an accessory immediately after purchase – both for existing customers and those who received a Tinkoff card for the first time. Payment using a payment accessory with Tinkoff Pay is safe, according to the bank. To confirm a transaction in the amount of more than 1,000 rubles, you need to enter a PIN code – just like when paying with a contactless bank card. If an accessory is lost, it can be blocked.
Now you can buy payment accessories with Tinkoff Pay at the Aviapark shopping center in Moscow, in the future the number of points of sale for them will grow, Tinkoff promises. The cost varies from about 1,000 rubles for a simple keychain with a polymer base to 50,000 rubles for a silver and mother-of-pearl charm.
