This is at odds with previously reported information about the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.

The Xiaomi Pad 5 series of tablets is expected to soon receive successors in the form of Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, which should be significantly improved compared to the current generation tablets.

Ahead of the official announcement, well-known leaker Mukul Sharma confirmed that both of these tablets have entered the internal testing phase in several European countries. The insider adds that these tablets will be equipped with Snapdragon 8-series SoCs and could be released in the second quarter of 2022. This leak markedly contradicts previous reports that said the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro would be launched exclusively in China.

Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro are rumored to have different codenames: Pipa and Liuqin. It’s funny that the liuqin (musical instrument) is really a type of Chinese pipa mandolin, in fact, a miniature copy.

It is expected that the younger version will receive Snapdragon 870, and the older version will get Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. Both tablets will presumably get 11- or 12-inch displays with narrow bezels, a dual camera on the upper left side of the back panel, and possibly dual-cell batteries with fast charging support.

According to earlier rumors, the AMOLED display in the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will have a resolution of 2880 x 1880 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The tablet will receive four speakers, NFC, keyboard and stylus support.

Mukul Sharma accurately reported the specifications of the Samsung W20 5G, Xiaomi 12S, the release date of Xiaomi 13 and a lot of other information.
