Toshiba has released a new series of smart TVs Fire TV Edition with an updated interface
Toshiba has released a new series of Fire TV Edition smart TVs with built-in Fire TV functionality. Models with 43- and 50-inch screens have already appeared for $ 350 and $ 470, respectively, in Amazon and Best Buy online stores. The start of sales is still unknown, but most likely, we are talking about next week. In the future, 55-, 65- and 75-inch versions of TVs will go on sale.
Unlike previous models of Toshiba TVs, new items have thinner bezels and additional HDMI and USB ports. The new Toshiba Fire TV Edition smart TVs are powered by the Regza Engine, support 4K resolution (3840×2160 pixels), and Dolby Vision and HDR10 technologies.
Toshiba’s new TVs run Amazon Fire OS, allowing you to watch video streams from a compatible video door station or other cameras over on-screen content and the ability to change TV settings using voice commands.
For example, you can give the command “Alexa, set the picture mode to“ movie ”or“ Alexa, set the bass to 3 ”. The voice remote that comes with the TVs also allow you to control the power and volume of compatible AV receivers and soundbars.
According to the resource AFTVnews, Toshiba Fire TV Edition TVs will initially ship with the old Fire TV interface, but this summer, they will receive an updated interface. The updated interface has support for up to six user profiles, which means that up to six members of your family can save the device settings as they wish.
