Toyota to launch an all-new electric crossover for Europe
Japanese giant Toyota has announced plans to create a completely new electric vehicle for the European market. The model, whose commercial name has not yet been disclosed, will be based on the advanced e-TNGA electric platform.
It’s about creating a mid-size crossover. The presented teaser allows you to get an idea of the silhouette of the car: in particular, you can highlight the sloping rear end and the large wheels.
The characteristics of the future electric car were not disclosed. However, it is said that the-TNGA platform allows for the creation of vehicles with front, rear or all-wheel drive, as well as with battery packs of different configurations.
E-TNGA architecture provides fixed and configurable components. Thanks to this, electric cars of different classes can be created with various dimensions, wheelbase, power indicators and power reserve on a single charge.
Toyota promises to unveil a new electric crossover for Europe in the coming months. This will probably happen in the first quarter of the coming year.
