Traditional Halloween Horror Coming To Overwatch October 13

Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed that this year’s Halloween Horror in-game event in competitive shooter Overwatch will begin on October 13th. As always, users can look forward to new themed cosmetics in the form of costumes, graffiti, animations, and player icons.

In a short Twitter ad, the developers revealed new skins for D.Va, Sobmera, Sigma, Brigitte, Echo, and Winston. Surely, other characters will receive new costumes and animations – the developers will inform more about this closer to the start of the in-game event.

Of course, the co-op mode “Junkenstein’s Revenge” will also return, where four daredevils fight off crowds of increasingly powerful enemies under the command of AI. The heroes need to protect Adlersbrunn from terrible opponents: Dr. Junkenstein, his monster, a mysterious sorceress, the Reaper, and the Witch from the wildlands.

Perhaps there will be other innovations. Halloween Horror runs until November 3rd. At this time, all containers will be themed and offer both fresh cosmetics and items from past years. During the in-game event, items from previous years can be purchased at a reduced price for in-game currency.

Overwatch is available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
