Treacherous T-shirt: Bethesda Employee Inadvertently Confirms Recent Starfield Screenshot Leaks

The founders of the GameLeaksRumors microblog drew attention to the T-shirt of Bethesda Game Studios managing director Ashley Cheng, in which he appeared at the awards ceremony of The Develop: Star Awards 2020.

Featured on the broadcast, Cheng’s garment is inspired by Starfield, Bethesda Game Studios’ best-kept secret ambitious sci-fi RPG.

Cheng has the well-known Starfield logo on his chest, while on the sleeves of the T-shirt you can see an inconspicuous emblem – exactly the same one was present on the game screenshots leaked at the end of September.

The images were allegedly taken from the 2018 Starfield assembly, but so far the author could not provide any evidence of the reliability of the frames. Apparently, a Bethesda Game Studios employee did it for him.

Screenshots were published by a Reddit user under the pseudonym Electrical-Ad-8659 (ElectricalAd8659 in Discord). He later said that the premiere of Starfield is scheduled for 2021.

Earlier, the head of Bethesda Game Studios Todd Howard (Todd Howard) said that procedural generation will be involved in Starfield, and the promised engine rework will affect the rendering systems, animation, artificial intelligence, and other aspects.

Starfield has neither a release date nor a target platform list yet. The next demo of the game won’t take place anytime soon either, Howard said: the studio “likes to showcase how the final product will look and feel
