Turn-based strategy shooter Lemnis Gate will be released later than expected, but also on next-generation consoles
The Frontier Foundry publisher on its official website has specified the release dates and the list of target platforms for the turn-based strategic shooter Lemnis Gate from the Ratloop Games Canada studio.
We will remind, until recently, the release of Lemnis Gate was scheduled for the beginning of this year for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, but the developers will not be on time on time.
As it became known, Lemnis Gate will go on sale next summer not only for the listed platforms but also for the next generation consoles – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
Among other things, on the occasion of the announcement, the first trailer from the debut presentation of Lemnis Gate was presented. The video lasts a little over a minute and demonstrates a cut of the gameplay.
The developers call Lemnis Gate a “time-warping turn-based strategy shooter” that “turns the perception of one of the most popular genres” and forces you to think in “four dimensions.”
“In five consecutive moves that unfold over 25-second time loops, you are required to use the unique abilities of a variety of deep space agents to surpass, outwit and outplay your opponent,” the authors describe the Lemnis Gate concept.
Among other things, Lemnis Gate promises “endlessly original multiplayer gameplay,” “characters dissimilar from each other,” as well as an automatic co-op function that allows you to control each of the allies.
