X Corp., founded by Elon Musk back in 2006, took over Twitter, Inc. According to Appleinsider, this is the first step towards creating a “universal application” similar to China’s WeChat.
According to information published by the publication, Twitter Inc. merged into a new organization called X Corp. last week, April 4th. This information was revealed in court documents from the ongoing legal battle between Twitter and Laura Loomer. Loomer sued Twitter for violating federal extortion laws when her account was suspended in 2019
