Crucial X6 drives feature USB 3.2 Gen2
Launched last August in 1TB and 2TB models, the Crucial X6 portable SSD lineup has expanded with two more models. It’s a 500GB drive that costs $ 70 and a 4TB drive that costs $ 490.

Like its predecessors, the new Crucial X6 drives are equipped with USB 3.2 Gen2, the signals of which are routed to the USB-C connector. However, the larger drive was also faster than the others. It claims a maximum sequential read speed of 800 MB / s, while for the other three models – 540 MB / s.
Devices measuring 11 x 69 x 64 mm and weighing 40 g without consequences tolerate falls from a height of up to 2 m, vibration, exposure to low and high temperatures. A USB-C cable is included. Broader compatibility is provided by the separately sold USB-C to USB-A adapter.
