At the same time, construction and installation work is being completed on the territory of the UAZ industrial park for a deeper localization of the model, including welding, body painting and final assembly. The plant plans to produce more than 10 thousand of these machines annually for five years. Investments will exceed one billion rubles.
It was also decided to open a “screwdriver” assembly in Cuba, where “UAZ Profi” and different versions of “Loaf” will be assembled. The first batch of vehicle kits is planned to be sent to Cuba in July-August 2023.
