The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant announced that the company’s SUVs will be equipped with a new 2-liter diesel engine, which will be produced in Tatarstan.
Earlier, Sollers spoke about plans to organize the production of diesel engines from the Chinese company JAC. Presumably, UAZ SUVs will receive the JAC HFC4DB2-1D diesel unit, which is currently equipped with commercial Sollers Argo. The power of this engine is 130 hp. at 285 Nm of torque.
UAZs will get a new diesel engine
Today it has already been confirmed that Russia will launch the production of modern and environmentally friendly diesel engines with a volume of 2 to 2.7 liters. The Sollers company will restart the engine plant in the Alabuga SEZ.
Earlier, the Russian UAZ plant began selling the Pickup model in the new BASE Ikar configuration with the Limited package. The price is 1,780,000 rubles .
