Uber will no longer allow ordering a taxi without a selfie in a medical mask

The company today announced that it is introducing a feature into its taxi ordering app that will allow passengers to take such selfies.

The scheme will be as follows: if the driver informs the service that the passenger has not put on a mask, then he will be included in a certain “blacklist” and will not be able to travel the next time until he is photographed with a medical mask on his face. The application will automatically recognize the presence of a mask, and then allow the order of the car. As for the drivers, they have to take a selfie with a mask before each going on the line since May.
