Ultrabook Chuwi Larkbook weighing only 1 kg will go on sale on December 15 with a $ 50 discount
Chuwi will soon begin selling the thin and light Larkbook ultrabook with a 13.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, bordered by thin bezels. The Ultrabook is aimed at students and the office, enabling a wide range of tasks with a high-performance, energy-efficient chip.
The novelty is enclosed in a body made of light aluminium-magnesium alloy the size of a sheet of A4 paper and weighing only 1 kg, which is about a third less than the weight of devices in this segment. Case thickness is 11.9 mm.
The ultrabook is based on the Intel Gemini Lake Refresh hardware platform with a Celeron N4120 processor containing four processing cores with a nominal clock speed of 1.1 GHz and an upgrade to 2.6 GHz. The chip also includes an integrated Intel UHD 600 graphics accelerator for 4K video decoding.
Compared to the previous generation Intel N3350 processor, the single-core performance of the Intel N4120 is 45% higher and the multi-core performance is 90% higher.
High-quality sound is provided by a built-in four-speaker speaker system with support for DTS surround technology. The device is running Windows 10 Home.
