Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us Developer Joins ZeniMax Online for Unannounced AAA Game
Game Designer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Designer for The Last of Us and The Last of Us: Left Behind Quentin Cobb, formerly of Naughty Dog, has announced that he has joined ZeniMax Online, known for The Elder Scrolls Online. At the new location, the developer will create an unannounced AAA game.
Quentin Cobb told about his transition to the studio in his personal microblog. His message reads: “I am delighted to announce that I have joined ZeniMax Online as a Senior Designer to work with my good friend Ben Jones (creative director of ZeniMax Online) on an unannounced AAA project on new intellectual property. I am very glad it finally happened. “
According to Quentin Cobb, the newly organized ZeniMax division in San Diego, to which he joined, will handle the production of the upcoming game. The company now needs dozens of employees for different roles, from senior technical artist to lead level designer.
Details about the studio’s new AAA project are not yet available.
