Unsinkable Huawei. Despite the crisis, the company was able to increase sales in the home market

But not Huawei. Huawei managed to increase supplies, albeit only 1%, to 30.1 million units. And as competitors ’sales declined, Huawei’s share soared from 33.9% to 41.4%. In this case, Huawei sales count with Honor.

Oppo, which sold 12.5 million smartphones, which is 26% less than a year earlier, ranked second with a wide margin from the leader. Vivo closed the top three with a result of 12.1 million smartphones sold and a 19% drop.

Xiaomi also showed a decline of 26%, to 7.8 million devices, while Apple sales dipped by only 4%, to 6.2 million. Today we have already noted that Apple’s global sales have also suffered less than many others. As you can see, this trend has continued in China.

Also very interesting statistics regarding sales of smartphones with 5G. While many countries still don’t even dream of fifth-generation networks, in China, the market leader has more than a quarter of smartphones (26%) sold in the first quarter that already had 5G support. For Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi, these figures were 15%, 23%, and 26%, respectively.
