Until the end of the year, Apple will present an updated MacBook Pro 16, but it is unlikely to receive a proprietary ARM processor

Internet sources report that Apple may introduce an updated MacBook Pro laptop with a 16-inch Retina display in the current quarter.

Apple recently released Boot Camp software version 6.1.13. Users who have carefully read the accompanying release notes have found a line that reads: “ [This update] Fixes stability issue that could occur during heavy CPU load on 16- inch MacBook Pro (2019 and 2020) and 13- inch MacBook Pro (2020) “.

In other words, the documentation mentions an unreleased 2020 MacBook Pro 16 laptop. This means that the presentation of the computer will take place in the very near future.

Observers believe that the novelty will receive a tenth or eleventh generation Intel Core processor. The display, most likely, will be inherited from the current generation laptop – it is a matrix with a resolution of 3072 × 1920 pixels.

Rumor has it that in the future, portable computers MacBook Pro 16 can be transferred to Apple’s own processors. Thus, the upcoming laptop will become the last representative of its series on the Intel hardware platform.

We add that on November 17, Apple has scheduled a presentation, at which the announcement of the first computers based on an ARM processor of its own design by Apple Silicon is expected.
