Update 1.5 for Stardew Valley may still be out before the end of the year, but only on PC [Updated]

Updated: As soon as we wrote the news, patch 1.5 was released on the PC. According to ConcernedApe, this is the largest content update he has released for Stardew Valley. You can see what exactly the patch includes on the official website of the project.

The year is drawing to a close, but a major update to the Stardew Valley suburban life simulator may still be out on time. According to the creator of the game Eric Barone, also known by the pseudonym ConcernedApe on Twitter, the release of version 1.5 is possible on the PC before 2021.

The Baron said that in the update of the game there will be a new farm – on the beach. Considering that sprayers do not work on the territory, it will be quite difficult to grow a crop. But this is not the only new challenge the developer has prepared. If you prefer a more difficult task, then in version 1.5 there will be “Advanced Game Options”, which will make the rewards and tasks more interesting.

“Advanced game options” will allow you to choose before the start of the campaign, what will be the bundles to restore the club. Selecting “Mixed” from the menu will randomize new sets and create variations of old ones. There is also an option that ensures that you can complete all objectives within the first year if you don’t want to delay the passage.

In addition to this, the rewards for working in the mine will also be customizable, and you can turn off the appearance of monsters on the territory of your farm. In addition, the update will add a split-screen feature to Stardew Valley so you can play with your friends on the same display.

Early next year, the Stardew Valley 1.5 update will hit Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
