In 2020, the Odyssey G9 gaming monitor caused a lot of excitement. Now Samsung is offering its gamer upgrade – the Quantum Mini-LED model with premium gaming features, ”says the South Korean giant.

The technical characteristics of the new items have not yet been fully disclosed. The concave display is known to have a radius of curvature of 1000R. This performance allows you to immerse yourself in the virtual space completely: Samsung claims that the screen’s scenes seem to surround the user from all sides.

Internet sources add that the new generation monitor has a diagonal of 49 inches and has a resolution of 5120 × 1440 pixels with an aspect ratio of 32: 9. The response time is 1 ms, the refresh rate is 240 Hz.

The main change is the aforementioned Mini-LED backlight technology, which uses an array of microscopic LEDs. This system allows the formation of a large number of separately controllable lighting zones.
