Valve fixes a bug that caused Steam users to suffer with over 25k games

Currently, over 51 thousand games are sold on Steam. But it turned out that the service application could not cope with the user library until recently, which exceeded 25 thousand titles.

The latest update to the Steam beta client fixed a bug that caused the application to crash for users with more than 25,000 games in the library. As noted on Reddit, this could mean that someone who currently owns such a vast collection has noticed the issue and reported it to Valve.

On the analytical site Steamladder, it is reported that three people overcame the specified threshold. However, there are not so many public profiles on Steam, so there may be many more such users. According to SteamDB, there is even a person on Steam who has over 42,000 games in their library.
