Since the discovery, Chapman’s website – which is still listed on Sucker Punch Productions by LinkedIn – has stopped working, but users have managed to save a copy of the video.

The leaked piece of Prophecy is a so-called vertical slice – the most elaborated segment of the not yet finished game, which is used to demonstrate key features.

Prophecy is an action-adventure game with melee and stealth systems. The events of a vertical cut unfold in a gloomy city, the authorities of which are pursuing the main character.

Order from the ResetEra forum has calculated that the vertical slice of Prophecy is dated January 15, 2016. There were still more than 21 months left before the presentation of Ghost of Tsushima.

According to Brian Fleming, co-founder of Sucker Punch Productions, after the release of inFamous: Second Son, the developers immediately decided to make an action game with a melee system in the open world, but could not decide on the surroundings.

As a result, Sucker Punch Productions focused on the story of a lonely samurai who must change himself in order to save his home. Ghost of Tsushima went on sale July 17 this year, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
