Video: 2 Hours of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Gameplay on Xbox Series X

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released on November 10, the day of the start of sales of the new Microsoft console. The game is already ready. The Ubisoft News team, Chris Watters and Youssef Maguid decided to prove it and streamed the gameplay on Xbox Series X.

This video shows the first hours of an action-adventure, dedicated to the era of the Viking invasion of England. We are shown the start of a new game – in particular, in a bright introduction they demonstrate the life of the Vikings, the difficult childhood of the protagonist, Ivor, as well as how he got the name “Kissed by the wolf”.

After the prologue, the player is given the choice of a female or male character. The choice can be left to the Animus – then in the process of passing the game will switch the gender of the protagonist, depending on the safety of the memory line. Also, the player will be able to switch the gender of the hero on his own at any time.

The life of the Vikings, judging by the first minutes of the game, is not easy: in the conditions of constant civil strife and enmity, Eyvor grew up and became a dangerous warrior. By the way, the eagle in this game will be a constant companion of the player, allowing him to assess the situation from a bird’s eye view. The “observation towers” – places from which the main character inspects the surroundings and restores memories of the surroundings – have not gone anywhere either. We are also shown the use of various weapons, stealthy passage, ambush attacks, and a boss fight.

Then, in the second part of the broadcast, Ubisoft switched to later sections of the game and showed the exploration of open worlds in Scandinavia and England, finding new equipment, coastal caches, and improving their settlement. By the way, a short 9-minute video with the gameplay on the Xbox Series X and the story of the producer of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Julien Laferriere was released separately on the Xbox channel:

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will take players to 9th century England and will be released on November 10 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S, as well as streaming services Google Stadia and Amazon Luna. The action movie will hit the PlayStation 5 on November 12.
