Recall that Aliens’ events: Fireteam unfold in the universe of “Alien” 23 years after the finale of the original trilogy. Players in a team of three will have to overcome four-story campaigns with three missions each.

The IGN video is dedicated to one of these tasks. The Marines are IGN Editor Ryan McCaffrey, Cold Iron Studios co-founder Craig Zinkievich, and studio creative director Matt Highison.

The mission from the IGN demo took about 25 minutes to complete. During this time, the trinity of players managed to survive more than one attack of xenomorphs of different types (they promise 11 in total) and get used to their classes’ characters.

Cold Iron Studios is going to add variety to the gameplay through difficulty levels, variations of unique encounters, and off-screen systems that modify the elements of the tasks (pace, number of enemies, etc.).

According to the developers, in Aliens: Fireteam, you can have fun alone (in the company of AI-controlled allies), but “you really want to play the game with your friends

The release of Aliens: Fireteam is expected this summer on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. The debut trailer of the project can be found here.
