The first extended video gameplay focuses primarily on the real-time tactics aspect. The main characters – two deserters from the German army – take the chance to escape and leave the front. In Planning Mode, players will be able to prioritize actions and create a sequence of commands and then implement it. So, two heroes hide in the shadows and distract enemies with shots or improvised objects, and then make quick finishing moves and hide the bodies before anyone notices the presence of deserters.

Those who are less inclined to stealth tactics can use weapons and arrange a firefight. Each level contains replayability, including multiple routes and solutions such as stealth, intense firefights, no kills, and co-op.
