Publisher and developer Alawar Premium has announced its next project – They Always Run, a dynamic 2D platformer set in space western setting.
According to the plot of They Always Run, the Galactic Empire has fallen, and the inhabited planets are mired in crime. In this regard, mercenaries who can find anyone, anywhere, have become especially appreciated.
They Always Run will offer to take on the role of one of these mercenaries – a three-armed mutant named Aiden, who hunts “the most dangerous and dodgy thugs in the Galaxy. “
Users will have to catch criminals, hand them over to the authorities, extract from them “invaluable information,” improve equipment, and get new abilities to become stronger.
According to the developers, Aiden’s third hand will become “a weighty argument in any skirmish”: an additional limb can be used to perform directed attacks, throws, and manipulate the environment.
They Always Run promises a “tangled story” with unexpected twists and turns and a “galactic conspiracy,” as well as organically intertwined with the plot “high-octane gameplay.”
They Always Run has been announced for PC ( Steam ) only and has no exact release date. The Alawar Premium space western is expected to go on sale before the end of this year.
