The video is an extended version of the gameplay trailer for the game from Devolver Direct 2020. As part of the published video, the walkthrough of the chapter “Way to Motoko” is demonstrated.

The task of the main character – corporate shogun Lo Wang – in this passage is to rescue his former employer and worst enemy Orochi Zilla, who finds himself in a sanctuary stormed by demons.

On the way to the goal, the protagonist will meet several types of enemies, including mini-bosses. From one such Wang will tear out a bone hammer, the blast wave from hitting the ground which literally tears ordinary enemies apart.

Throughout the level, Wang and Zilla talk, and the main character interrupt the silence between the dialogues with sharp remarks, often referring to works of popular culture (for example, “Game of Thrones”).

The developers of Shadow Warrior 3 promise dynamic battles, interactive arenas, witty dialogues, the ability to “prevent the end of the world again” and for the first time in the series – grappling hook, wall running and finishing moves.

So far, Shadow Warrior 3 has only been confirmed for PC (Steam), although the two previous installments in the series have also been released on current-gen consoles. The release of the PC version is expected no earlier than 2021.
