In anticipation of the very soon release of Crysis Remastered on the main target platforms, Crytek has published a new trailer for the modernized version of the cult shooter sample of 2007.

This almost two-minute video focuses on the main technical features of Crysis Remastered and compares the improved graphics with those in the original game.

In particular, the reissue of Crysis will offer ray tracing, global illumination, real-time reflections, refraction of rays through the water column, improved particle and explosion effects, and support for 8K resolution.

PC-exclusive “Will it handle Crysis?” with ultra-high graphics settings that will put even the most powerful hardware to the test.

According to the official system requirements for Crysis Remastered, to start reprinting at 1080p will need at least 4 GB of video memory, and for 4K – twice.

At the same time, not all versions of the game will receive support for ray tracing: the technology will be available only on PC, PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X. The owners of the basic models of the listed consoles, thus, will remain out of work.

Crysis Remastered will go on sale on September 18 this year for PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch edition came out back in July and boasted decent, but not so advanced graphics.
