Video: familiar heroes and a huge monster in the debut trailer for Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual
At the opening ceremony of Gamescom 2020, HappyGiant studio unveiled the twentieth official game in the universe of detective adventures of Sam the dog, and Max the rabbit without warning.
Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual, as you might guess from the name, is intended for virtual reality helmets (which ones are not specified). The release is expected throughout 2021.
“Well, we can finally show what we’ve been working so hard on. We are extremely flattered and grateful for the opportunity to work on [Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual] ”, – commented on the announcement in Happy Giant.
Players in Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual will join the duo of Sam and Max as a new recruit in the ranks of the civilian police, which needs fresh blood.
Users will have to help the cult heroes stop the evil that consumes the world of Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual. Judging by the debut trailer, it won’t do without huge monsters.
Sam & Max creator Steve Purcell is involved in the project as a consultant. Telltale Games acquaintances David Nowlin and Dave Boat will return to the roles of Sam and Max, respectively.
Recall that in the period from 2006 to 2010, Telltale Games released three seasons of Sam and Max’s serial adventures on PC and other than relevant platforms: Save the World, Beyond Time and Space, and Devil’s Playhouse.
