According to Kayleigh, Opening Night Live (this is the name of the opening ceremony) will last about two hours, during which viewers will be shown more than 20 games being prepared for release.

Kaylie did not disclose the list of projects participating in the event: “I can’t wait! We have the next generation of consoles, indies, the biggest games in the world, we have so many cool stuff for Opening Night Live

Kayleigh also promised that starting tomorrow (August 22), together with the organizers of Gamescom 2020, he will begin to share information about the games that will appear on Opening Night Live.

At least one participant in the Gamescom 2020 opening ceremony is already known. The show will definitely show the full version of the debut trailer for The Ancient Gods, Part One, the first story expansion for DOOM Eternal.

Kayleigh also commented on the likelihood of appearing at the Elden Ring ceremony: when asked about the game from streamer Jacksepticeye, the host replied with an animated image of a boy unsuccessfully looking for something on the floor.

Opening Night Live will begin broadcasting on August 27 at 21:00 Moscow time. Gamescom 2020 itself will run from August 27 to 30 exclusively in digital format – the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
