Video: family ties, familiar faces and new locations in the fourth trailer for Resident Evil Village
As promised, as part of the second edition of the Resident Evil Showcase news show, Capcom premiered the fourth trailer for the Resident Evil Village horror movie.
The aforementioned video is just over three minutes long and shows a cut of scenes from the cutscenes and the hotly anticipated horror movie’s direct gameplay.
The trailer gives a sneak peek at where Ethan Winters – the protagonist of Resident Evil Village – will be on his new adventure and what opponents will face.
In particular, the audience was shown a large-scale underground factory hiding a huge monster artificial lake and revealed the mysterious man’s identity from the ending of the third trailer – Heisenberg, the brother of Lady Dumitrescu.
Besides, the video featured franchise veteran Chris Redfield, whose role in Resident Evil Village will touch upon the dark sides of the character’s personality that have already emerged in the past.
“To save the kidnapped daughter and find answers to disturbing questions, Ethan will have to accept the bitter truth about why his life was once shattered to smithereens, and Chris Redfield turned off the heroic path,” – hinted at Capcom.
The release of Resident Evil Village is expected on May 7 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. As part of the Resident Evil Showcase, The Mercenaries mode was also presented, details of the second demo and technical characteristics of the console versions.
