Video: frame-by-frame comparison of graphics in the remake of Demon’s Souls and the original – the first in everything ahead

IGN continues to release videos dedicated to the Demon’s Souls remake on its YouTube channel. The portal recently posted a starting 18-minute walkthrough and a secret splash screen and is now comparing the Bluepoint Games reissue to the 2009 original from FromSoftware. A fresh project naturally looks much better.

At the beginning of the video, a splash screen is shown on the game engine. She migrated to the remake with some changes, for example, the flight of the dragon is shown from a different angle. Bluepoint has tried to slightly change the accents to further impress users. The video goes on to show footage of the redesigned Nexus, and then IGN reporters ran through the same locations in the remake and the original.

The gameplay footage shows how much the reissue has changed compared to the 2009 draft. The environment has become much more detailed, and the lighting better emphasizes the atmosphere of the game. At the same time, there are fewer dark areas where opponents are poorly visible. Even in the remake of Demon’s Souls, the quality of animations has increased. This is easy to see when the character runs and falls.

Fresh project Bluepoint Games has already been released exclusively on PlayStation 5.
