Video: Lots of gameplay demos of Diablo II: Resurrected with different character walkthroughs
Closed alpha testing of Diablo II: Resurrected will begin today, April 9th, but select media and bloggers were given access to the game yesterday. They recorded many gameplay demos and posted them on the web. Fresh videos allow you to fully appreciate how the battles and graphics have changed in the cult Diablo II remaster.
The Gamespot portal on its YouTube channel published 18 minutes of playing as a sorceress. In the video, she uses electricity to defeat enemies and exterminate crowds of various demons. Sections of the video show similar scenes from the original 2000 game for contrast.
And if you want to see in more detail how Resurrected differs from Diablo II, then you should watch the video comparing projects from Gamespot. The portal’s journalists picked up the same footage from the games and demonstrated how Blizzard Entertainment had improved the remastered graphics. Character models, lighting, environmental textures, visual effects – all of this has been redesigned.
In parallel, the author of the YouTube channel Pure Game Guides published a 5-minute segment of Diablo II: Resurrected as a barbarian. This character specializes in melee combat and chops opponents with ax blow. At least that’s what the hero uses in the video.
The third character available in alpha testing is the Amazon. The game for her was shown by the author of the YouTube channel MonkeyKingHero. The mentioned heroine also hits enemies at close range, but her attack range is higher than that of the barbarian.
Diablo II: Resurrected will be released in 2021 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Series S, and Nintendo Switch. The exact release date has yet to be announced.
