In addition to the first-person view, Resident Evil 4 VR will receive support for Touch controllers, which will allow you to interact with the world in a new way: for example, change weapons by removing them from your own body without going to the menu.

The developers have also added several modes of movement: from the standard analog stick to teleportation. The authors assure that playing Resident Evil 4 VR will be quite comfortable and sitting.

To transfer Resident Evil 4 to VR, the team repainted or improved more than 4.5 thousand textures, carefully transferred animations to Unreal Engine 4. All intro videos will be presented in their original format.

The promised demo of Resident Evil 4 VR as part of the Oculus Gaming Showcase contained a 30-second trailer (see above) and a few minutes of direct gameplay (see below).

The approximate release dates for Resident Evil 4 VR have become known: the release is expected during the current year. The developers will share additional details in the coming months.

Recall that Resident Evil 4 VR will become a full-fledged exclusive of the standalone virtual reality headset Oculus Quest 2 and is not planned to appear on any other platforms.
