Video: Rampage of special effects and dynamic combat in the first gameplay demo of Lost Soul Aside since 2018
Independent studio Ultizero Games, led by enthusiastic Korean developer Yang Bing, hosted a lengthy gameplay demo of their action RPG Lost Soul Aside.
Recall that the previous time Lost Soul Aside was shown at the ChinaJoy exhibition in August 2018. Then the developers limited themselves to a one-and-a-half-minute trailer of the gameplay, and now they have presented 18 minutes from the project.
For such an impressive period of time by the standards of Lost Soul Aside presentations, the protagonist manages to overcome a plot skirmish with an implacable enemy, escape from a warship and deal with the boss.
In addition to the spectacular combat system, the 18-minute clip showcases scripted sequences (such as escaping from the aforementioned ship) and directing cutscenes.
In the description for the video, Binh warns that Lost Soul Aside is still in development, and therefore the assembly shown in the demo does not reflect the quality of the final product.
On the official Lost Soul Aside microblog, the development team apologized for keeping fans waiting for so long and thanked those who were not indifferent to their patients.
As part of the China Hero Project, Lost Soul Aside is a temporary PS4 exclusive. The game’s release was expected before the end of 2020, but Ultizero Games failed to fulfill its plans.
