The developers from the British studio Rare in the official microblogging of their pirated online action Sea of ​​Thieves announced the second content season’s start date in its history.

Recall that the first season of Sea of ​​Thieves started on January 28 of this year and brought additional mechanics and events. At the same time, no one canceled monthly updates.

Contrary to the developers’ promises, the first season will last a little less than three months because the second will begin on April 15 – by this time, only two months and 18 days will have passed since the system’s launch.

What exactly will be included in the second season is unknown at this stage, but a 38-second trailer for Sea of ​​Thieves, timed to coincide with the imminent premiere, contains a few hints of this.

In addition to a first glance at the on-duty replenishment of the assortment of items to personalize the character, the video shows a menacing-looking red cloud in the form of a skull, behind which a new fortress of skeletons is surely hiding.

However, the developers do not have too much time to preserve the intrigue: the second season will begin next week, and the team must share the details of the upcoming update before the coveted date.

Sea of ​​Thieves is available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. Since its release in March 2018, more than 20 million people have joined pirate adventures.
