Video: the blogger compared the physics of shots, explosions and bodies in Cyberpunk 2077 and Fallout 4

Bloggers continue to compare Cyberpunk 2077 to other games that have similar elements or mechanics. Not long ago, a fresh action role-playing pushed their foreheads with GTA V and GTA IV in terms of the behaviour of NPC and the various possibilities. And now the novelty has been compared with Fallout 4 in terms of the physics of shots, explosions and bodies. The results are far from favouring Cyberpunk 2077.

The comparison was made by the author of the Bear Gaming Asia YouTube channel. He performed the same actions in two projects and demonstrated what comes out of it. First, the blogger fired pistols into the water. In Cyberpunk 2077, bullets simply pass through the water surface without visible interaction with it, while in Fallout 4, bullets form circles on the water. Similar results were demonstrated by a grenade throw: in the CDPR project, it exploded as if it were not in the water, but on a solid surface, while in Fallout 4, a grenade caused a fountain of splashes.

The blogger further showed that in the Bethesda Game Studios project, unlike Cyberpunk 2077, bullet marks remain on different surfaces. And towards the end of the video, the author demonstrated what happens when firing a double-barreled shotgun at dead bodies. In Cyberpunk 2077, bullets only throw a corpse a few meters, and in Fallout 4, in a similar situation, limbs and head come off.

However, a lot of aspects remained behind the scenes of this superficial comparison: for example, in Cyberpunk 2077 you can destroy many objects of the environment with the help of a car, while in Fallout 4 this, like the actual movement by transport, is not provided at all.
