ViewSonic’s new 24 “gaming monitor features AMD FreeSync Premium support
ViewSonic has expanded its range of monitors with the gaming-grade VX2405-P-MHD-7, based on a high-quality 23.8-inch SuperClear IPS matrix with 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD format).
The new product implements AMD FreeSync Premium technology, due to which the effect of tearing in the frame is eliminated, and the gameplay becomes smoother. The refresh rate is 144 Hz, the response time is 1 ms.
The monitor claims 120 percent coverage of the sRGB color space. Brightness, contrast and dynamic contrast – 250 cd / m 2 , 1000: 1 and 80 million: 1. The horizontal and vertical viewing angles reach 178 degrees.
The stand only allows you to adjust the angle of the screen (within 25 degrees). The panel is equipped with an audio system with stereo speakers (2 × 2 W) and a standard 3.5 mm audio jack. To connect signal sources, there are two HDMI 1.4 connectors and one DisplayPort interface.
Flicker-Free and Blue Light Filter technologies are mentioned, designed to reduce eye fatigue during hours of gaming sessions. The ViewModel system allows you to use predefined settings for different monitor applications: Game, Movie, Web, Text, Mono, and Mac. These are the optimal parameters for gamma, color temperature, contrast, and screen brightness.
