As expected, Viltrox announced the start of accepting orders for the AF 33 / 1.4 XF lens. APS-C format lens with autofocus function is offered in the versions with Canon EF-M, Sony E and Fujifilm X mounts. This is one of the three fast lenses with fixed focal length, the release plans of which became known at the end of last summer.

The optical design of a lens with a focal length of 33 mm and a maximum aperture of f / 1.4 has 10 elements in 9 groups, including an element with ultra-low dispersion (ED) and an element with a high refractive index. A quiet and smooth stepper drive is used for focusing. Aperture covered by f / 16, formed by nine petals. The minimum focusing distance is 0.4 m. The manufacturer does not give the product dimensions, limiting itself to indicating that the lens is compatible with filters with a diameter of 52 mm. The mass of the lens is 270 g.
