Vivo introduced the iQOO Neo5 gaming smartphone on the Snapdragon 870 processor with a very fast sensor

Vivo has officially unveiled the iQOO Neo5 gaming smartphone, which became its first device on Qualcomm’s new nearly flagship Snapdragon 870 platform. The upcoming release of new items became known in early February.

Smartphone iQOO Neo5 equipped with 6.62-inch OLED-display with a resolution Full HD + and maximum value of brightness 1300 cd/cd / m 2. The display is officially HDR10 + certified to deliver richer, more detailed, and richer content. The refresh rate of the display is 120 Hz, the polling rate of the sensor layer is an impressive 1000 Hz.

The Snapdragon 870 chipset combines eight Kryo 585 cores with a clock speed of up to 3.2 GHz, an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator, and a Snapdragon X55 5G modem with support for fifth-generation cellular networks. Onboard there are 8 or 12 GB of RAM and a UFS 3.1 flash drive with 128 or 256 GB capacity.

Since the role of cameras in the gameplay is minimized, the company offered not the most advanced configuration in the iQOO Neo5. The main camera includes a 48-megapixel module with an aperture of f / 1.8, a super-wide-angle lens with a resolution of 13 megapixels, and two 2-megapixel modules for macro photography and scene depth measurement. The front 16-megapixel camera is located in the hole at the top of the screen.

The 4400mAh battery supports 66W fast charging. The smartphone comes pre-installed with OriginOS, which has the Multi-Turbo 5.0 feature to boost demand performance.

The smartphone will be available in black, blue, or orange, starting at $ 385. The start of sales of iQOO Neo5 is scheduled for March 22.
