Samsung has confirmed: more and more of its future smartphones will not have chargers and headphones included

When Apple removed the chargers from the boxes with the new iPhones, explaining this with concern for the environment, Samsung could not help but criticize the Cupertines for taking such a step and even released an advertisement in which it pointed out the presence of a power adapter in the box with the Galaxy. But in practice, the company follows Apple’s example: in the flagship Galaxy S21 series, this “luxury” is not included in the package, and this is just the beginning.

It seems that the lack of chargers and headphones will become a standard for other devices of the Korean company. In a statement released this week, Samsung’s mobile head Tae Moon Roh (TM Roh) confirmed that the company is working to gradually remove these accessories from the boxes of its smartphones.

“We are confident that the gradual removal of power adapters and earphones from our devices can help solve sustainable consumption problems and alleviate any discomfort consumers may experience from constantly receiving unnecessary charging accessories for new phones,” he said.

On the other hand, the South Korean company will release at least two-speed chargers in the coming weeks. While power adapters are an absolute must for smartphone users, headphones are more of a bonus that companies usually add to make a purchase more attractive. It looks like Samsung fans will have to buy both separately from this year if they need them.
