Vivo iQOO 5 smartphones presented: 120W charging and 120Hz screen

The Chinese company Vivo, as promised, announced today the productive smartphones of the iQOO 5 series: accepting pre-orders for new items has already begun, and actual sales will start on August 24.

The iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro models debuted. They are endowed with an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.56 inches and a resolution of Full HD + (2376 × 1080 pixels). It talks about HDR10 + support and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The brightness reaches 1300 cd / m 2. The iQOO 5 version has a flat-screen, the iQOO 5 Pro version has a curved edge. The refresh rate is 120 Hz.

It is based on a Snapdragon 865 processor with an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator. Support for fifth-generation mobile networks (5G) is implemented. The equipment includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters, an NFC controller, a GPS receiver, an asymmetrical USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera located in a small screen hole.

The standard iQOO 5 model has a triple camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics, and a 13-megapixel portrait lens. Responsible for power is a 4500 mAh battery with support for 55-watt charging.

The iQOO 5 Pro version is endowed with a camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics, and an 8-megapixel periscope module with 5x optical zoom. The 4000mAh battery supports 120W charging, which allows you to fully recharge your battery in just 15 minutes. This unit is also available in a special version created in partnership with the BMW M Motorsport team.
