The Geekbench 5 entry shows the Snapdragon 888 SoC iQOO 7 scoring 1125 and 3637 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The results are in line with other Snapdragon 888-powered devices tested in Geekbench, such as the Galaxy S21, Xiaomi Mi 11, ASUS ROG Phone 4 and Vivo X60 Pro +.

According to rumours, the iQOO 7 will be equipped with a 6.56-inch AMOLED screen with perforation for a front-facing 16-megapixel camera at the top centre. The display will feature features such as FHD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a sub-screen fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 888 mobile platform (one Cortex-X1, three Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55s, plus 660 graphics and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem) is complemented by LPDDR5 RAM and fast UFS 3.1 storage. The device will ship with Android 11 pre-installed and will offer support for 120W high-speed charging. However, the exact charging capacity of the battery is still unknown. The back of the phone has a triple camera setup. It is expected that the main will be a 48-megapixel wide-angle module with support for OIS stabilization. Finally, the company will also be selling a special version of the smartphone in BMW style.
