Vivo to release affordable 5G smartphone Y52s with Dimensity 720 processor

Internet sources report that the Chinese company Vivo will soon begin selling the mid-range smartphone Y52s with the ability to work in fifth-generation (5G) cellular networks. The device will ship with the Android 10 operating system.

The device is equipped with a 6.58-inch IPS Full HD + display with a resolution of 2408 × 1080 pixels. The teardrop notch houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The dual rear camera contains a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP sensor.

It is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor. The chip combines two ARM Cortex-A76 cores with a clock speed of up to 2 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores with the same frequency, an ARM Mali G57 MC3 graphics accelerator, and a 5G modem.

The smartphone carries onboard 8 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB. Power is provided by a 5000 mAh battery. Dimensions are 164.15 × 75.35 × 8.4 mm, weight – 185.5 g. Among other things, an asymmetrical USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack are mentioned.

The Vivo Y52s smartphone will go on sale on December 10 at an estimated price of $ 300.
