Vivo X300 Pro Leak Reveals 200MP Periscope Camera

7,000mAh Battery & Dimensity 9500 Chipset

Vivo looks set to shake up the flagship smartphone game once again with its upcoming Vivo X300 Pro, expected to launch in October 2025. Just like its predecessors, the X300 Pro appears to focus heavily on cutting-edge camera tech, large battery life, and serious performance upgrades.

Leaked by trusted sources like Digital Chat Station (DCS) and ACE_10ace, the renders and specs give us an early look at what Vivo fans can expect. From a 200MP periscope camera and ZEISS optics to a massive 7,000mAh battery, this phone already sounds like a beast in the making.

According to renders shared by tipster ACE_10ace, the Vivo X300 Pro is set to retain a familiar yet refined design language. The defining visual feature is once again a circular, centrally positioned camera island, housing:

  • An additional sensor or laser autofocus unit

Vivo is continuing its partnership with ZEISS, and the cameras will be treated with ZEISS T* lens coating. This coating helps reduce glare, improve clarity, and minimize distortions — especially beneficial for bright lighting, night shots, and shooting against strong light sources.

The Vivo X300 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.8-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1260 × 2800 pixels). This is not a full 2K display, but it strikes a balance between resolution, battery efficiency, and visual clarity.

Expect support for features like:

  • High refresh rate (likely 120Hz or 144Hz)

The performance leap in the X300 Pro comes courtesy of the yet-to-be-announced MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. Key features may include:

  • ARM Cortex-X930 core clocked at 3.23GHz

  •  designed for better gaming and graphics rendering

  • Efficiency-focused 4nm architecture

This chipset is expected to rival the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 series in raw performance and efficiency, especially with MediaTek’s focus on AI and power optimization.

The Vivo X300 Pro looks poised to be a camera-centric flagship, putting photography front and center with next-gen sensors and periscope optics.

According to leaker DCS, the device will feature:

  •  – Sony LYT-828 sensor

  • 200MP Periscope Telephoto Camera

The main lens will likely use the Sony LYT-828, a cutting-edge 1/1.28-inch sensor with 1.22μm pixels. This new sensor supports Hybrid Frame HDR —a technology combining Dual Conversion Gain and Variable Shutter — to produce an exceptional dynamic range above 100dB, outpacing even Sony’s LYT900 1-inch sensor.

Other camera innovations include:

  •  for enhanced low-light performance

  •  for lightning-fast autofocus and accuracy

  • Potential support for 4K or even 8K video recording

The standout in the camera system is undoubtedly the 200MP periscope telephoto lens, which:

  • Uses a 1/1.4-inch sensor

  • Supports telephoto macro shots

  • Likely offers up to 10x optical zoom

This makes the Vivo X300 Pro a formidable contender for zoom photography, rivaling the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Huawei P70 Pro+.

Vivo is also going big on battery this time — literally. The X300 Pro is rumored to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery, which is:

  •  than the Vivo X200 Pro

  •  than the older X100 Pro

While charging speeds haven’t been confirmed, Vivo is expected to upgrade from the previous 90W wired and 30W wireless specs to accommodate the larger cell. A 120W fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging setup seems plausible.

If accurate, this will make the X300 Pro one of the longest-lasting mainstream flagships in 2025.

Based on Vivo’s past releases, the Vivo X300 Pro is likely to launch in October 2025, possibly alongside a standard X300 model or an X300 Ultra variant.

  •  (coming late 2025)

With its battery strength, camera tech, and powerful chipset, the X300 Pro aims to grab attention from both power users and photography enthusiasts.

The Vivo X300 Pro is shaping up to be one of the most advanced Android smartphones of 2025. From a 200MP periscope camera and Sony’s cutting-edge imaging sensor to the next-gen Dimensity 9500 chipset and a 7,000mAh battery, Vivo is pulling out all the stops for this one.

With its commitment to ZEISS optics, battery performance, and mobile imaging breakthroughs, the X300 Pro could be a top-tier choice for anyone looking for premium hardware paired with professional photography capabilities.
