The device not only exploded, but also set a fire
Just a couple of days ago, we wrote about the case of the explosion of the Redmi Note 10 Pro smartphone in India – and here is a new incident, also in India. But this time, it was not Xiaomi or OnePlus that exploded (the models of these manufacturers often appear in “criminal” reports), but the Vivo device.
Vivo Y22 exploded in India, which was only 1.5 months old
This time, the budget Vivo Y22, which was only 1.5 months old, self-destructed. It is not known whether he was on charge at the time of the explosion or not, but the device not only self-destructed, but also set a fire. There were no casualties, but the material damage is clearly greater than the cost of the smartphone itself.
The incident happened on June 8th. It is not yet clear whether the local Vivo branch reacted to it.
