VTB board member Svyatoslav Ostrovsky said on the sidelines of the Finopolis-2023 financial forum that VTB was the first among Russian banks to develop a banking application for the domestic Aurora operating system. VTB launches a banking application for the Aurora OS
The prototype of the VTB Online application, created for the Aurora operating system, supports all the basic services that are in demand among users: transfers and payments, payment by camera using a QR code, quick search for ATMs and branches using geolocation, updating profile data via Government services, etc. Testing of the service will take place from November 2023 to June 2024, notes the bank’s press service.
VTB pays increased attention to the development of digital channels and the introduction of its financial services to new platforms. In the near future, we will be the first among Russian banks to become accessible through Aurora, a secure domestic operating system with all the necessary set of certificates for uninterrupted operation.
