Huami CEO awaits today’s announcement of new Apple Watch
Huami today announced that next week there will be a presentation dedicated to the launch of the new smartwatch Amazfit GTR 2 and Amazfit GTS 2. Huami CEO Huang Wang also shared some details about the new products and the similarities with the Apple Watch.

In a post left by the CEO on the company’s official homepage, he mentioned how difficult it was to design a new smartwatch, focusing on three things – stylish looks, long battery life, and excellent health tracking performance.
He admitted that last year’s Amazfit GTS is very reminiscent of the famous Apple Watch. For this reason, the Amazfit GTS 2 has a round screen instead of a square display.
The top manager added that he is looking forward to today’s announcement of the new Apple Watch. He wonders what new features the new watch will have, for example, a blood oxygen saturation sensor. The new Amazfit GTR 2 and GTS 2 will also have the ability to monitor blood oxygen saturation levels as well as monitor stress levels.
The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday 22 September.
